The designer I chose was Victoria Hagan. She started her own firm 20 years ago. She is still a very influencial designer in the design world. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Victoria currently serves on the school's Board of GovernorsIn December 2004, Victoria Hagan was inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame. In addition, she has been awarded many of the country's top design honors, including Architectural Digest's "Top 100". In 2002, she launched an eponymous line of furniture and fabric sold through designer showrooms throughout the country. Hey im Sarah, im a junior at victor high school. Im taking a few different art classes this year, including functional art and sculpture. After high school I plan on attending college im still not postive where yet but I know I want to go into sports medicine.

Scale Model Questions

1. A scale model is a representation or copy of an object that is larger or smaller than the actual size of the object. Most often the scale model is smaller than the original and used as a guide to making the object in full size.
2.2 types of scale models are study models/ working models which are quickly constructed to reflect the preliminary nature of the design. Presentation/finished model present a finalized, fully developed design with a great deal of detail and high levels of craftsmanship
3. Some advantages of working with a working model are elevations can move and be taped into place as needed for study and review, use drawing skills as an aid in model making, it can be dismantled and stored flat for easy transporting. Some limitations are does not show design details as accurately as presentation models, less realistic in terms of space than presentation models.
4. Advantages of presentation model are show design details such as finishes; colors; materials; textures, give a highly accurate representation of the space. Some limitations are costly to make, time intensive, requires expensive tools, most often created by model making teams of professionals.
5. Were going to make a working model of our entire apartment and a presentation model of 2 or 3 rooms.
